Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues stitched together a 167-run stand to break record during the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 semi-final between India and Australia at the Dr DY Patil Sports Academy
in Navi Mumbai on Thursday.
It was the highest partnership for India in any World Cup knockout matches as well as the highest partnership against Australia in World Cup games.

Before Harmanpreet Kaur and Jemimah Rodrigues’ 167-run stand, another notable stand took place in the 2017 semifinal, where Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma added 137 runs, aiding India’s journey to the final. Harmanpreet’s strong partnerships continued throughout the same tournament. She also formed a 95-run partnership with Punam Raut in the 2017 final and a 66-run stand with Mithali Raj in the semifinal.
