divorce, revealing that he was completely shocked. He said, “Bohot bada shocker hai! Woh to jab baahar aayenge wo, tabhi main baat karunga. Ab mujhe Gaurav bhai ko message karke puchna hai iss baat ko. Wo bhi mujhe thoda embarrass feel ho raha hai. But main unse phone karke baat karunga. Dekhte hain kya hai. (It’s a huge shocker! I’ll only talk to him when he comes out. For now, I need to message Gaurav bhai and ask him about this. I’m feeling a little embarrassed too. But I’ll call him and talk. Let’s see what it is).”

When asked whether he already knew about it, Awez said, “Nahi, woh to jab episode launch hua main toh shock ho gaya. I was like ‘Okay, ye kya tha?’ But jo bhi hai, sab ki life mein aisa hota rehta hai. (No, not at all. When the episode was released, I was completely shocked. I was like, ‘Okay, what was that?’ But whatever it is, things like this keep happening in everyone’s life).”

Akanksha Chamola Confirms Divorce With Gaurav Khanna

During the premiere of Lock Upp season 2, Akanksha was asked to reveal a secret that no one knows. She revealed that she and Gaurav are getting divorced. “Me and Gaurav are getting a divorce. We have been living separately for the last one year, and it’s not been public,” she said.

However, she added that there is no bitterness between them and that they both realized they are no longer compatible as partners. “Things are not bad between me and Gaurav. We still talk to each other. We don’t think we are compatible as partners because we both see a very different future. And, unfortunately, it’s not with each other,” she said.

Gaurav Khanna and Akanksha Chamola tied the knot on November 24, 2016, in an elaborate three-day wedding ceremony held in Gaurav’s hometown of Kanpur. Throughout their marriage, the two frequently expressed support for one another, celebrating each other’s personal and professional achievements.

In November 2025, Akanksha made an appearance during the family week on Bigg Boss 19, where Gaurav was a contestant and later went on to win the season. During his time inside the house, Gaurav had candidly spoken about the couple’s differing opinions on starting a family.
