In a moving gesture displaying the dedication and team spirit, a group of football fans in Germany rented an entire plane to watch their favourite team play in Spain. The supporters of FC Bayern Munich travelled to Madrid and the flight tickets reportedly went above 900 euros. Instead of paying the amount individually, they organised a private charter flight for around 180 people.
By travelling together, they brought the cost down to about 475 euros per person — nearly half the usual fare. But the idea wasn’t just about saving money.
This is incredible.
With flights to Madrid costing over €900, a Bayern fan club came together and rented an ENTIRE plane for 180 supporters.
The move cut the price in half, turning the journey into a party — fans singing,
drinking, and travelling together.

Videos from the flight show the group singing, chatting and celebrating together, turning what would normally be a standard journey into a shared experience. For many, the trip itself became part of the event, not just a way to get there.
The group travelled to the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, where their team played against Real Madrid. Bayern went on to win, making the experience even more memorable for those who made the trip.
Online, many people praised the idea as a smart and creative way to travel. “That’s proper support. Collective effort, shared experience, unforgettable night,” one user wrote. Others called it a “great fan experience” and a “small win for the good guys.”
At the same time, some questioned whether chartering a plane was necessary. “They needed a plane from Munich to Madrid, it’s covered by rail?” one user asked, while another suggested that cheaper flight options might have been available.
Still, the story has struck a chord beyond football fans. At its core, it’s about a group of people finding a practical solution to high costs — and turning it into something far more enjoyable along the way.
