Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana has been generating buzz ever since it was announced. From controversies related to casting to speculations about the film’s promotional strategy, Ramayana has caught everyone’s attention. Now, Redditors are wondering why Sai Pallavi has been missing from the film’s international promotion campaigns, like at Comic-Con.
While Sai Pallavi did attend the Bharat Mandapam event, she was absent when Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Namit Malhotra and Nitesh Tiwari attended overseas events to promote the film. While some wondered whether this was a deliberate attempt to make Ranbir shine, others noted that Sai Pallavi could be busy with Mani Ratnam’s film, Inji Vellam.

One Redditor asked, “Why don’t we see Sai Pallavi that often doing promotions?” A comment read, “Jab movie flop hogi toh Sai ko pura credit milega, don’t worry.” Someone else wrote, “Just like Sharvari’s Alpha, even tho both were female stars, the lesser one is used.” Someone else wrote, “Kyuki Ramji sara credit lenge.”
A comment read, “She is filming a Mani Ratnam movie right now; what’s with the hate 24/7?” Someone added, “Isn’t she busy in shoot of a movie directed by Mani Ratnam? She might join the cast during India promotions of Ramayana.” Someone joked, “Because Ravana has abducted Sita, duh.”
Someone wrote, “Good observation. Little odd that the lead heroine is not around extensively for promotions outside India.” A comment read, “Karenge, kuch toh karenge. Let’s see.” Someone else noted, “She would be judged for any appearances she makes. It’s better to stay away.”
Sai Pallavi or the makers of the Ramayana movie have not reacted to the speculation. Reportedly, Sai Pallavi is currently shooting Mani Ratnam’s Inji Vellam alongside Vijay Sethupathi. About a month ago, it was also reported that the actress had started shooting Rajkumar Periasamy’s OM, also starring Dhanush, Mammootty and Sreeleela.
