Deepika Padukone Applauds Ranveer Singh’s Performance

Akshay’s appreciation follows Deepika Padukone’s glowing review of the film. A few days ago, the actress took to Instagram to express how much the film resonated with her.

“Dhurandhar has been watched and is worth every minute of those 3.34 hours! So do yourselves a favour and get to a cinema hall NOW! So incredibly proud of you, Ranveer Singh! Congratulations to the entire cast and crew! @adityadharfilms | @officialjiostudios (sic),” she wrote.

Dhurandhar Box Office Run & OTT Release

Despite its lengthy 3-hour-34-minute duration, Dhurandhar has been unstoppable at the box office. The film opened at Rs 28.60 crore in India and surged past the Rs 100-crore mark during its first weekend. It collected Rs 33.10 crore on Saturday and Rs 44.80 crore on Sunday, continuing strong momentum into the weekdays with Rs 24.3 crore on Monday and Rs 28.6 crore on Tuesday—matching its opening day numbers.

In addition to its theatrical success, the film has secured a major OTT deal. According to a Bollywood Hungama report, Netflix has acquired the streaming rights for both parts of Dhurandhar for a staggering Rs 130 crore.
A source told the portal, “Netflix has paid Rs 130 crore for the streaming rights of Dhurandhar. This includes both parts, which means about Rs 65 crore each for Dhurandhar Part 1 and Part 2.”

The source further added, “This is a huge figure in today’s times when OTT prices have crashed. It is also a significant milestone for Ranveer Singh—his biggest OTT deal yet if both parts are counted.”
