Marvel Television has officially unveiled the trailer and key art for the highly anticipated second season of Daredevil: Born Again, setting the stage for an even darker and more intense chapter in the street-level Marvel saga. The new season will premiere on March 25, streaming exclusively on JioHotstar, and will be available in English, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Spanning eight action-packed episodes, Season 2 promises a high-stakes clash where survival, resistance, and redemption collide, as the fight for the soul of New York City reaches a breaking point.
Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio Return as Rivals
Created by Dario Scardapane, Chris Ord, and Matt Corman, the series once again brings Charlie Cox back as Matt Murdock, the blind lawyer by day
and masked vigilante Daredevil by night. Opposite him, Vincent D’Onofrio returns as Wilson Fisk, whose transformation into a powerful political figure escalates the conflict to a city-wide scale.
Season 2 sees Fisk tightening his grip on New York as mayor, declaring war on the Hell’s Kitchen vigilante he now brands public enemy number one. With Fisk’s influence expanding through legal, political, and criminal networks, Matt Murdock is forced to operate deeper in the shadows to counter the growing corruption.
Fan-Favourite Characters Make Their Comeback
Several familiar faces are set to return this season, including Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Wilson Bethel as Benjamin Poindexter (Bullseye), and Margarita Levieva as Heather Glenn.
Adding to the excitement, Season 2 also marks the long-awaited return of Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, reuniting two of Marvel’s most beloved street-level heroes. Meanwhile, Matthew Lillard joins the cast as the enigmatic Mr. Charles, whose role remains shrouded in mystery.
A Darker, More Political War for the City
According to the trailer, Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 leans heavily into themes of power, resistance, and moral reckoning. As Fisk consolidates authority from City Hall, Matt Murdock must confront not just physical threats, but the crushing weight of a system stacked against him.
With the tagline “Resist. Rebel. Rebuild.”, the series signals a narrative focused on reclaiming justice in a city consumed by fear and control—raising the question of how far Daredevil is willing to go to save New York, and what it may cost him.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 begins streaming on March 25, exclusively on JioHotstar.
