Sparsh Shrivastava, who impressed viewers with his performance in Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies, is ready to make his Tollywood debut. The actor will be sharing screen space with Telugu star Naga Chaitanya in the upcoming action drama titled Vrushakarma. The film, directed by Karthik Dandu, is produced by BVSN Prasad under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. The movie is still in its production phase.
Sparsh Shrivastava On Tollywood Debut
Now, Sparsh Shrivastava has opened up about his experience of working with Naga Chaitanya and the director in Vrushakarma. The 26-year-old also talked about the language barriers he has been facing and how the movie crew is making him feel a part of the team.

agency IANS, shared, “I am having an absolute treat working on this South Indian film with Naga Chaitanya. It is such a warm, vibrant industry, and they have welcomed me with open arms and obviously delicious food!”
The Jamtara actor admitted that collaborating with Naga Chaitanya, Karthik Dandu and the other “wonderful” cast members was a “dream”. “They are all such kind souls, and the director is a creative genius who gives me the freedom to explore my craft,” he revealed.
In conclusion, Sparsh Shrivastava said that despite the language challenge, everyone has found “ways to connect, discuss, and vibe on the nuances of each take.” He also confessed to learning Telugu.

Vrushakarma, presented by Sukumar Writings, also stars Meenakshi Chaudhary in a key role. Filmmaker Sukumar is supervising the movie’s screenplay, while the music is composed by Ajaneesh B. Loknath.
Last month, the makers of Vrushakarma unveiled Naga Chaitanya’s first-look poster from the film. The photo captured the actor in action, holding a metal rod and exuding an intense expression. Re-sharing the poster on Instagram, Naga Chaitanya wrote, “Vrushakarma it is for NC24.”
Coming to Sparsh Shrivastava, the actor shot to overnight fame by playing the role of a village boy Deepak in Laapataa Ladies. Nitanshi Goel, Pratibha Ranta, Ravi Kishan and Chhaya Kadam were a part of the comedy-drama as well. Sparsh is also credited to films like Jamtara, Ae Watan Mere Watan, and Dupahiya.
