A foreigner’s first experience of the Delhi Metro has left him pleasantly surprised. In a video shared on Instagram, the foreign travel vlogger, who goes by Stef, documented his journey from the airport to New Delhi station and shared his first impression of the Delhi Metro. “I can’t believe that I’m in India right now, for real,” he said at the beginning before making his way towards the metro station from the airport.

while interacting with an airport staff and asked him where to take the metro from. Once the individual pointed him towards the way, he walked forward. As he entered the metro station, Stef appeared to be impressed by its cleanliness and design.
“Everything is clean,” he said. “If I’m not wrong, this is like a new metro as well. This one could be like South Korea or Japan as well. It’s like perfect. But it gives me like Japan vibes. You know, the same colors for the metro and the airport as well.”

While purchasing the ticket, he was surprised by the low fare and later pointed out the facilities available at the station. His excitement continued when the train arrived. After boarding, he noticed that the metro had air conditioning and enough seating. “Nice metro, bro. Nice metro,” he remarked.
During the journey, he also interacted with a passenger who asked where he was from. After initially being asked whether he was from abroad, he jokingly said he was Indian and then continued his conversation about the metro. Towards the end, he also experienced the crowded side of Delhi, where he tried to make his way through the crowd down a flight of stairs.
