Speaking about the track, the content creator explained that the track Rabbi Shergill actually wrote after the demise of his father. “This song describes Rabbi and his relationship with his father. He wrote this song after his father passed away and depicts that his father did not tell him about his illness,” she said.
Next up, she talked about Palash Sen’s hit 2000 song Maeri and said that the song was dedicated to the singer’s mother. Explaining the lyrics, she added, “In Dongri, mother is called Maiyya and with love is called ‘maeri’.”
Lastly, she talked about Rabbi Shergill’s other hit song, Challa, from the romantic drama film Jab Tak Hai Jaan, featuring Shah Rukh Khan. When the song was released, it was largely perceived as a breezy, upbeat, and romantic number. The creator, on the other hand, explained, “Challa was a son of the boatman who drowned in rowing for the first time. This song is a father’s desperate call to search for his son.”
