Delhi, Sep 2 (PTI) Customs officials have seized 1.32 kg of gold jewellery worth Rs 2.17 crore from an Indian woman who arrived from Toronto, Canada, at the Indira Gandhi International Airport here, officials said on Wednesday.
The 46-year-old woman landed in New Delhi on August 24 and was intercepted by Customs officers, an official statement said.
According to the statement, a search of her baggage led to the recovery of the gold jewellery.
The market value of the gold jewellery collectively weighing 1,327.4 grams was Rs 2.17 crore, the statement said.
