Asha Bhosle funeral LIVE updates: Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle passed away at the age of 92 in Mumbai, marking the end of an era in Indian music. The iconic singer breathed her last at Breach Candy Hospital on April 12 after battling a chest infection and extreme exhaustion, with doctors later confirming multi-organ failure as the cause of death.
As per official details shared by the family, Asha Bhosle’s mortal remains will be kept for final darshan at her residence in Casa Grande, Lower Parel, from around 10 am to 2 pm, allowing fans, well-wishers and members of the industry to pay their last respects.

Asha Bhosle’s last rites will take place

today, April 13, at Shivaji Park crematorium at 4 pm, where she will be cremated with full state honours. Heavy security arrangements have been made at the venue, and several political leaders and film personalities are expected to attend. Her passing has triggered nationwide mourning, with tributes pouring in from across the film and music fraternity.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was seen at the residence of the late singer, where he paid his last respects to her. Family members, including her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle and son Anand Bhosle, were also present as visitors continued to arrive ahead of the final rites.
