The super show by Noman in Pakistan’s 93-run win over the 2025 World Test Championship (WTC) winners at Gaddafi Stadium helped him jump four places on Wednesday (October 22) and become the new world No. 2 Test bowler.
He has 853 rating points to his credit.
India’s Jasprit Bumrah, who dismissed a total of 7 West Indies batters in the two-match Test series, continues to lead the bowler’s chart. He has 882 rating points to his credit.
South African pacer Kagiso Rabada was the world’s No. 2 Test bowler last week, but after managing to take only two wickets in the first
Test against Pakistan, he has dropped three places. He is now the world No. 5 Test bowler and has 837 rating points.
Australia’s Josh Hazlewood has also dropped one place (5th to 6th) in the Test rankings, but in the ODI bowler’s rankings, he jumped six places to take the No. 10 position.
Hazlewood bowled seven overs in the first India-Australia ODI at Optus Stadium in Perth on October 19 and picked up two wickets for 20 runs to set up Australia’s win by 7 wickets.
Kuldeep Yadav was dropped to the bench by Indian team management for the first ODI against Australia, and after not getting a chance to play, he also dropped one place in the ODI bowler’s rankings.
Mohammad Rizwan impressed with his batting in the first innings of the Lahore Test, and as a result, he also gained four places in the Test batter’s rankings (16th now).
