Missing man found dead in Muzaffarnagar, probe on

(UP), Jun 22 (PTI) A 28-year-old man, who had been missing since Saturday, was found dead in Muzaffarnagar district, with police suspecting that he was strangulated by unidentified persons.

The deceased, identified as Rohit, was found dead on Sunday evening, police said.

Circle Officer Gajendra Pal Singh said the body bore injury marks on the throat and has been sent for postmortem examination to ascertain the exact cause of death.

Two police teams have been formed to trace and arrest the accused, he added. PTI COR KIS DV DV
