Salman Khan Cheers For Mohanlal And Mammootty’s Action Drama Patriot's Teaser

The much-anticipated teaser of Patriot, starring Malayalam cinema icons Mohanlal and Mammootty, has set the internet on fire. Adding to the buzz, Salman Khan joined the celebration, cheering for the film and showering praise on the two veterans.

Taking to his Instagram stories, Salman Khan shared the teaser title and wrote, “Excited to share the title teaser of #Patriot featuring the big M’s of Indian cinema together.” The cast includes Nayanthara, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchacko Boban, and Darshana Rajendran.

Patriot Teaser Out

Mahesh Narayanan Is Thrilled About Mammootty’s Return

Filmmaker Mahesh Narayanan, who is directing Patriot, confirmed the news in an interview with OnManorama. “We’re all thrilled to have Mammookka back on set,” he said, adding that the team is eager to continue filming with the veteran star.

Mahesh further explained that Mammootty’s absence did not disrupt the production schedule. The crew used the period to shoot sequences involving other cast members. “I would visit his house to show him edits. He was completely part of the process, even if he wasn’t on location,” the director revealed.

Salman Khan’s work

In September, Salman concluded a 45-day start-to-finish shoot in Leh, Ladakh. He was later seen in Mumbai, sporting a clean-shaven look after parting ways with the moustache he carried for the film. A source close to the project confirmed the upcoming schedule, telling Hindustan Times, “After wrapping up the first schedule of the film, Salman along with his battalion of actors will resume the second schedule of the film in Mumbai from October 10, 2025 onwards and is expected to end by November.” The source further revealed, “Chitrangada Singh will also be the part of this second schedule. The recce has been done already but the details on the exact locations are still under wraps.”
