Richa Chadha, Ali Fazal Welcome Baby Girl
In July 2024, Chadha welcomed her first child – a baby girl – with Ali Fazal. In a joint statement, the pair made the announcement, writing, “We are tickled pink with joy to announce the arrival of a healthy baby girl on 16.07.24! Our families are overjoyed, and we thank our well-wishers for their love and blessings! Love, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal.” The couple got married in 2020.
Richa Chadha Shares Glimpse Of Her Daughter
Recently, the actor posted a note along with her daughter’s photo on her social media. Taking to her Instagram handle, she discussed the emotional, physical, and professional hurdles she has faced since becoming a mother, as well as her return to work after nearly two years away.
“On Sunday, I went back to work after nearly 2 years. As much as I would have liked to get back sooner, my body, my mind wasn’t ready at all. But other than these tangible issues, I have had to deal with deep professional betrayals from close quarters. I have learnt that in the industry, a rare few have ethics and courage,” she said.

On the professional front, Richa Chadha was last seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s acclaimed Netflix period drama Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, released in 2024. In the same year, she also produced her first film, Girls Will Be Girls. Chadha’s next ventures include producing and starring in the comedy Akhri Somvaar, a project she also wrote. She is also making her international debut in the Indo-British drama Aaina.
