Shah Rukh Khan has arrived in Kolkata to meet football legend Lionel Messi. After heightening the excitement among fans by hinting at a meetup with the Argentine footballer, the superstar was spotted arriving at the city with someone very special.

King Khan’s Kolkata visit came amid the ongoing buzz of him meeting with Lionel Messi. On Thursday, Shah Rukh took to social media to tease that he would share the stage with Messi on December 13 at the Salt Lake Stadium.

“This time round I’m not planning my Knight in Kolkata…” and hoping the day ride is completely ‘messy’. See you guys on the 13th at the Salt Lake Stadium,” the superstar wrote on X previously.

Messi’s GOAT India Tour

As a part of Messi’s GOAT India Tour, the legendary footballer arrived in Kolkata early on Saturday morning with thousands of fans crowding to get a glimpse of him at the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport.

Upon disembarking the flight, Messi was seen surrounded by multiple security personnel and airport ground staff members as he made his way to the exit.

Lionel Messi is in the country on a three-day tour, which starts with Kolkata on December 13, following which he will travel to Hyderabad the same day. On the second day of his tour, he will arrive in Mumbai and will conclude by visiting Delhi on Monday, December 15. The footballer is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence before leaving the country.
