Patna, Jun 21 (PTI) A man’s body was found inside a parked car under mysterious circumstances here on Sunday evening, officials said.
The incident took place in the Gardanibagh locality of Patna.
Sachiwalay (01) SDPO Annu Kumari said, “Gardanibagh police received information that a body was found inside a vehicle parked on road number 1. Police rushed to the spot, secured the area and began an investigation. Police are trying to ascertain the whereabouts of the deceased person.” Preliminary findings suggest that the man may be a driver, the SDPO said.
The exact identity of the deceased and the circumstances surrounding the death are yet to be conclusively established, she added.
“The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team has been called to examine
the scene, while the body is being sent for post-mortem examination,” the SDPO said.
The police officer declined to speculate on the cause of death. She said conclusions about the cause of death could be drawn only after the scientific investigation, forensic examination and post-mortem report are completed. PTI SUK RG
