Force 3: Vedika Pinto Cast Opposite John Abraham In Third Instalment

The casting for Force 3 has taken shape, with actress Vedika Pinto coming on board as the female lead opposite John Abraham, sources have confirmed. The upcoming film marks the next chapter in the action-heavy Force franchise, which Abraham is set to headline once again.

Vedika Pinto, who made her debut with Operation Romeo and was most recently seen in Anurag Kashyap’s Nishaanchi, has been signed to play the leading role in the film. A source close to the development said, “Her character is paired opposite John Abraham in the movie.” Attempts to reach Pinto for comment did not receive a response.

Force 3 is the third instalment in the franchise that began in 2011 with Force, where John Abraham played ACP Yashvardhan Singh. Directed by Nishikant

Kamat, the first film went on to find success as a sleeper hit and later expanded with Force 2. For the new film, Abraham has reacquired the rights to the franchise and appointed Bhav Dhulia as director.

Prior to Pinto’s casting, the makers were reportedly in talks with Meenakshi Choudhary. However, she opted out of the project after choosing to take up a film starring Akshay Kumar.

Alongside Abraham and Pinto, Force 3 will also feature Harshvardhan Rane. The actor was approached shortly after receiving strong audience response for his recent release, Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat. Rane, who has previously appeared in films such as Sanam Teri Kasam, Haseen Dillruba, and Taish, shared the news on Instagram with a post that read, “John Abraham locks Harshvardhan Rane for taking FORCE franchise forward, under him.”

Expressing his gratitude, Rane added, “All i can do at this moment is thank this angel of a man called John Sir, while i look upwards and thank who ever is doing this from up there, cant wait to begin shoot in March 2026. (No other details till I begin the shoot.) (sic)”

Production on Force 3 is expected to begin in March 2026.
