Ahan Shetty Shares How Swimming And Ice Baths Keep Him Calm Amid Busy Schedule

Ahan Shetty is on cloud nine as his latest film Border 2 continues to mint impressive numbers at the box office. The actor is receiving widespread love and praise from both audiences and critics for his performance as Lt‑Cdr Mahendra Singh Rawat, an Indian naval officer from the 14th Frigate Squadron, a character inspired by real‑life hero Captain Mahendra Nath Mulla, MVC.

The actor recently opened up about how he manages stress and keeps himself grounded amid his hectic schedule.

Ahan Shetty Finds Swimming Therapeutic

Speaking with IANS after Border 2’s release, Ahan said swimming feels like therapy to him. He explained that being in the water helps him “shut out all the noise”, reduce stress and improve focus.

He shared, “For me, it also is kind

of like therapy. It just kind of shuts out all the noise and I’m just focusing whether that be in the gym or if I’m playing cricket or paddle or football or swimming. Also, because of the amount of activity we do in our day-to-day life, swimming helps put less stress on the body, but still helps tone the body in a great way. So I think that’s a very important exercise.”

Ahan Shetty Loves Taking Ice Baths

Ahan also reflected on how ice baths help release stress, anxiety and aid recovery. He said, “ And I love doing my ice baths as well. That also helps release some stress and anxiety, and definitely has a lot of benefits in terms of recovery for the body. So I guess just being underwater for me benefits me emotionally, mentally and physically”.
