A massive fire broke out in the slums of Rani Garden area in Geeta Colony on Thursday morning. As per the officials, the fire started in a scrap warehouse. Eight fire trucks have been deployed to the site
for dousing and controlling the blaze.
Fire officer Yashwant Sinha told ANI, “A call was received at 1.05 AM. Information was received about a fire breaking out in the slums of Rani Garden, Geeta Colony. Efforts are underway to control the fire. Eight fire trucks are present at the scene. There is no information about any casualties. There are 15-20 slums and the fire broke out in a scrap warehouse. The cause of the fire has not been ascertained.”

The official stated that there is no information about any casualties, and the cause of the fire is yet to be determined. Further details are awaited.
Fire At Multi-Storey Building In Ghaziabad | Video
Earlier, on Wednesday night, another massive fire incident was reported from Indirapuram area of Ghaziabad. Here, fire broke out at a multi-storey residential building. As per the officials, the fire was brought under control within an hour and no casualties were reported.
Chief Fire Officer of Ghaziabad, Rahul Pal, said the blaze erupted around 8:30 PM at Divya Apartments, located in the Shakti Khand-2 area of Indirapuram.
Nearly a dozen fire tenders were rushed to the spot after receiving the alert.
“All residents were safely evacuated before the fire could spread further. Firefighters worked from both inside and outside the building to bring the flames completely under control within an hour,” Pal was quoted as saying by PTI.
