15 injured as bus overturns in Bihar's Aurangabad

Aug 13 (PTI) Fifteen people, including two women, were injured after a bus overturned in Bihar’s Aurangabad district in the early hours of Thursday, officials said.

The bus, travelling from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh to Jharkhand, overturned near the Aurangabad bypass around 1 am after brushing past another bus parked on the roadside, they said.

Aurangabad SDO Gaurav Singh said the injured were admitted to a nearby hospital.

The conditions of two injured persons, including the driver, are serious, officials said.

Around 45 people were travelling on the bus, of whom nearly 15 had disembarked at Sasaram, while the remaining passengers were travelling towards Aurangabad, they said. PTI CORR SUK SOM
