Chiranjeevi Team Up With Director Bobby For Next, Film To Go On Floors On THIS Date?

In an exciting development, Chiranjeevi is reportedly set to collaborate once again with director Bobby Kolli for his next film. The project has already generated significant buzz among fans, with reports suggesting that it will go on floors soon. According to industry sources, the official announcement of the yet-untitled film will be made soon.

123 Telugu reported that Chiranjeevi and director Bobby have teamed up and it is tentatively titled Mega 158. The film will be officially launched with a grand pooja ceremony on April 11, 2026 and the shoot will begin on April 20, 2026.

The movie will be produced by KVN Productions and Nimish Ravi has been roped in as the cinematographer. Thaman will compose the music. More details about the cast and storyline

are expected to be revealed during the launch.

Mohanlal To Join Bobby Kolli?

In 2025, Pinkvilla has reported that Mohanlal is set to play an important role in Chiranjeevi’s next movie. The film is said to be a gangster action flick with an intense emotional backdrop. The other details about the film have not been revealed. But this would mark the first time Chiranjeevi and Mohanlal appear together on screen. Tentatively titled Mega158, the project marks director Bobby Kolli’s second collaboration with Chiranjeevi after the 2023 film Waltair Veerayya.

Malavika Mohanan Denies Being Part Of Chiranjeevi, Bobby Kolli’s Mega 158

Earlier, Malavika Mohanan has finally addressed the ongoing rumours about her involvement in Mega 158, the much-anticipated film starring Chiranjeevi and directed by Bobby Kolli. The actress took to social media to put all speculation to rest and clarified that she is not a part of the project. Taking to her X handle, the actress shared a note reading, “Hi guys So there are a lot of reports circulating online that I’m a part of Mega 158 helmed by Bobby sir. While I would love to share the screen with the iconic Chiranjeevi sir at some point in my career, but just wanted to clarify that I’m not a part of this project and the reports are false.”

Chiranjeevi’s Last Work

The actor was last seen in Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu with Nayanthara. It was released in January and received immense love. The action-comedy centres around a security officer, Shankara Vara Prasad (Chiranjeevi). He is assigned to protect his estranged wife and their children from a revenge-driven former cop, but finds himself facing more than just danger during this tense mission. The responsibility becomes an unexpected opportunity for him to mend broken ties and reconnect as a family after six years of separation.
