'Can't Contact My Husband...': Bhojpuri Stars Pawan Singh And Jyoti Singh's Divorce Drama Heats Up

Bhojpuri cinema superstar Pawan Singh and his wife Jyoti Singh are embroiled in a contentious marital dispute that has now culminated in divorce proceedings. The couple, married since 2018, has faced a turbulent relationship marked by allegations from Jyoti of neglect and lack of communication from Pawan.

Jyoti Singh has frequently voiced her anguish on social media and in interviews. This time, she broke down over her husband’s neglect and disdain, saying she has struggled for seven years and has begun to hate life.

She claims Pawan does not respond to her calls and messages and that his team prevents her from contacting him.

In an emotional video that has gone viral, especially in the Karakat area where Pawan Singh contested the 2024 Lok Sabha

elections, Jyoti pleads for Pawan to speak to her, stating, “I am not your enemy; I am your wife. Until the divorce, I remain your wife. If I am running from pillar to post, it concerns your respect. Please, speak to me at least once, as a matter of humanity.”

Pawan Singh filed for divorce in the Ara Family Court in 2022 and has reportedly missed several court hearings, which has further disrupted Jyoti’s life. While Jyoti initially demanded Rs 5 lakh in monthly maintenance, she emphasises that more than money or property, she simply wishes to communicate with her husband.

Although the court has recently issued a verdict on their divorce, there has been no public confirmation of the details.

Jyoti Singh has accused Pawan Singh of coercing her into relationships, forcing an abortion, and subjecting her to torture. She also referenced rumours of his third marriage in a previously viral call recording. She has also mentioned Pawan’s first marriage, noting that his first wife, Neelam Singh, allegedly died by suicide.

Despite these serious allegations, Pawan Singh has not publicly addressed them, except briefly mentioning the divorce on the television reality show “Rise and Fall.”

According to Jyoti Singh, Pawan continues to ignore her and fails to attend court dates, with reports suggesting his team is complicit in keeping her at bay. The divorce case remains unresolved, and Jyoti’s heartfelt plea continues to garner attention on social media.
