Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar have announced that they have decided to part ways. The couple shared a joint statement on social media, requesting privacy and dignity while they navigate this phase “privately and amicably.”
In the note, Mouni and Suraj expressed disappointment over what they described as “unnecessary and intrusive attention” into their personal lives. They also addressed the circulation of what they called “fictitious narratives and blatant falsehoods,” stating that such stories do not reflect the reality of their relationship.

The couple further said that after “thoughtful reflection on evolving personal priorities,” they had mutually chosen to move forward on separate paths with “respect and understanding.”
“At this point, we are focused on navigating this phase thoughtfully and privately. We will endeavour to cherish our friendship in times to come,” the statement added.
Mouni also shared a caption along with the post, urging people and media houses not to spread false stories. She wrote, “Humbly requesting everyone to give us privacy and dignity and not give out any false stories about me or Suraj. Expecting all of you to give us privacy in these hard times. Humble request to all the media houses to please stop.”
Announcement Comes After Days Of Separation Buzz
The official statement comes after several days of speculation around Mouni and Suraj’s marriage. Earlier this week, reports claimed that the two had unfollowed each other on Instagram, triggering rumours about trouble in their relationship. At the time, it was reported that both still had photos of each other on their respective profiles, although social media users had already begun speculating about a possible split.
