RJ Mahvash has revealed that her family never objected to her equation with the cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal. In a recent interview, Mahvash, who was previously rumoured to be dating Chahal, shared that even her family was ‘friendly’ with him. “They never objected because they knew there was no such relationship to object to,” she told Bombay Times.
Even though Mahvash and Chahal have unfollowed each other now, the former clarified that she has no bitterness towards the cricketer. “Otherwise, there’s no point. Life is short and I am a very forgiving person,” she added.
What Happened Between Mahvash And Chahal?
Mahvash and Chahal’s relationship had always been a subject of speculation, particularly after the cricketer’s divorce from Dhanashree Verma in 2025. Rumours had been circulating
about a possible romance between Chahal and Mahvash, with many suspecting that they might be more than just friends.
The two were often spotted together, which only intensified the buzz. However, Yuzvendra and Mahvash have always maintained that they were just good friends. Previously, Chahal appeared on Raj Shamani’s podcast, where he addressed the dating speculations and said, “No, there’s nothing. People can think whatever they want to think.”
“For the first time, when I was seen with someone, people started linking us right away. Even she clarified it, but it was very hard for her. She was called a homewrecker… people said really nasty things. I felt terrible,” the cricketer added.
However, in January this year, Chahal and Mahvash unfollowed each other on Instagram, leaving everyone shocked. The reason for their fallout is not known as of now.
After unfollowing Mahvash, Chahal was spotted with Shefali Bagga as they stepped out of a Mumbai restaurant. Photos and videos of the moment spread rapidly online, with fans and gossip pages drawing their own conclusions. Neither Shefali nor Chahal confirmed any relationship, but the sighting was enough to set off dating chatter.
