Mom-To-Be Sonam Kapoor Spotted After Baby Shower In Mumbai

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja was beaming as she celebrated her path to parenthood on Sunday, February 8, by throwing a small baby shower at her residence in Mumbai.

The actress, who is expecting her second child with husband Anand Ahuja, was the centre of attention at the event’s fashion story because of her gorgeous lime green lehenga, which beautifully displayed her fully grown baby bump.

Besides the baby shower celebration, a viral video shared by Viral Bhayani on Instagram showed Kapoor in the back seat of a car, busy on her mobile, while her team can be seen taking the front seats. She was wearing a black-coloured outfit, unlike the traditional lime green lehenga.

Sonam Kapoor wowed both guests and the media with a lime-green lehenga elaborately embroidered with floral motifs. The matching veil gave her outfit a hint of ethereal movement. She accessorised with traditional jewellery, including as bangles, earrings, and a matching necklace, and wore her hair in a bun.

Images posted on social media showed Sonam beaming with happiness as she held her growing baby belly and posed with Anand Ahuja, capturing the couple’s enthusiasm for their imminent delivery. Anand and Sonam conducted a pooja at their house before the celebration. They tied a holy thread and asked a priest for blessings in preparation for the new arrival.

Several B-Town celebrities and family members attended the star-studded yet intimate event to bless the soon-to-be mother. A mix of warmth and glitz was added to the afternoon as celebrities like Kareena Kapoor Khan, veteran actress Shabana Azmi, leading actress Bhumi Pednekar, Kunal Rawal and Arpita Mehta were seen at the event.

Members of the Kapoor clan, including Anil Kapoor, Khushi Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Anshula Kapoor, and Shanaya Kapoor, were also seen arriving at the event.

Bhumi looked stunning in a white outfit, while Kareena maintained an exquisite style in a blue kurta with white and golden pants.
