Visibility remains at 10 km, while atmospheric pressure stands at 1009 mb, indicating stable conditions. The sun rose at 6:26 AM and is expected to set at 6:38 PM, offering almost 12 hours of daylight despite the overcast conditions.
According to the IMD’s seven-day forecast, Mumbai will continue to see rainy and cloudy conditions through Monday, with daytime temperatures hovering around 29–30°C
and minimums between 25–26°C.
On September 18, moderate rain with cloudy skies is expected, followed by passing showers and overcast conditions on September 19.
September 20 may bring isolated thunderstorms under heavy clouds, while September 21 is likely to see light rain and persistent overcast skies. Early morning showers could give way to partly cloudy conditions on September 22, with September 23 forecast to be partly cloudy with occasional sunshine.
By September 24, partly cloudy weather is expected to continue with temperatures remaining steady around 25–30°C.
The weather department has also issued a yellow alert for rain in Mumbai today, signalling updated conditions. People should expect waterlogging in low-lying areas such as King’s Circle, Andheri, and Bandra, and plan travel accordingly.
Local train services may face minor delays due to track wetness, and road traffic could slow down in flooded stretches.
