Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna recently got engaged, as per reports, and since then, the Arjun Reddy actor made his first public appearance. He visited Sri Sathya Sai Baba’s Maha Samadhi with

his family, and pictures from his visit went viral. Eagle-eyed netizens noticed Vijay wearing a beautiful ring on his ring finger, raising eyebrows.

Dressed in a casual yet stunning traditional outfit, Vijay Deverakonda received a warm welcome with a bouquet of flowers, and while posing, he was seen wearing an elegant band on his finger, making fans believe that it is his engagement ring.

While Vijay and Rashmika have still remained tight-lipped about the reports of their engagement, the Arjun Reddy actor’s team confirmed that the couple are indeed engaged and will tie the knot in February 2026.

Back in July 2017, Rashmika had been engaged to actor Rakshit Shetty, her co-star from the Kannada hit Kirik Party. The engagement was celebrated publicly, but the wedding was later called off owing to differences over Rashmika’s career choices. While the actress was determined to continue focusing on films, reports suggest the decision was not acceptable to Rakshit’s family. The separation was confirmed, but both actors have since moved on professionally.

It was soon after that Rashmika and Vijay Deverakonda’s names began to be linked. Their joint appearances, secret holidays, and natural chemistry both on and off screen only fuelled the speculation. The two first shared screen space in the blockbuster Geetha Govindam (2018), a film that not only catapulted Rashmika into stardom but also created a fan base for the duo as an on-screen pair. Their collaboration in Dear Comrade (2019) further cemented the rumours of a real-life romance.

“Everyone knows about it” moment resurfaces

This isn’t the first time Rashmika has sparked dating chatter. During Pushpa 2 promotions last year, when asked if she would marry someone from the film industry, she cheekily replied, “Everyone knows about it,” prompting laughter from Allu Arjun and the audience.

Despite multiple vacation sightings and consistent buzz around their relationship, both actors have remained tight-lipped about their personal lives.

What’s next for Rashmika and Vijay

On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna is gearing up for the release of Aditya Sarpotdar’s horror-comedy Thamma, co-starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Paresh Rawal. The film is set to hit cinemas on October 21, 2025. She has also wrapped Cocktail 2 with Kriti Sanon.

Vijay Deverakonda, last seen in Gowtam Tinnanuri’s spy thriller Kingdom (2025), continues to receive praise for his performance.
