Chennai, Sep 12 (PTI) CavinKare, in association with the MMA honoured the country’s promising innovators and emerging idea-makers at the 15th edition of the “ChinniKrishnan Innovation Awards 2026”, held at the IIT Madras research park on Saturday.
A company release here said that this year, the awards also recognised 10 entries in the “Great Ideas Category”, further reinforcing its position as one of the country’s most coveted recognitions for great ideas and innovation.
The category recognized promising ideas at an early stage for their originality, problem-solving potential and relevance.
Speaking at the occasion, CK Ranganathan, chairman and managing director, CavinKare, claimed, “the journey of the ChinniKrishnan Innovation Awards over the last
15 years has reinforced our belief that innovation is at the heart of progress and can take many forms. Over the years, the awards have provided a platform to recognise and encourage such innovative thinking and support entrepreneurs who have the potential to create meaningful impact”.
A R Unnikrishnan, president, Madras Management Association (MMA), said that “the 850-plus nominations received this year highlight the exponential growth of India’s innovation ecosystem.
