Sep 19 (PTI) Unidentified persons stole Rs 90,000 kept in the under-seat compartment of a farmer’s scooter in Ambajogai in Beed district, a police official said on Saturday.
The incident took place around 1:30 pm on Tuesday, he added.
On the complaint of farmer Raosaheb Pandurang Rathod (50), a case was lodged on September 18, the Ambajogai City police station official said.
“The theft took place after he parked his scooter opposite a lodge near the bus stand and went to have tea. Efforts are on to nab those involved,” he said. PTI COR BNM
