Sardar 2 Update: Karthi, Malavika Mohanan Pull Off Intense Mid-Air Fight Scene

Tamil star Karthi and actress Malavika Mohanan are set to share screen space for the first time in the much-awaited sequel Sardar 2. As anticipation builds ahead of the film’s theatrical release, an exciting update has emerged about one of its most ambitious action sequences.

According to a report by Pinkvilla, Sardar 2 will feature a high-voltage action sequence shot inside an aircraft. The scene reportedly includes an intense mid-air fight involving both Karthi and Malavika Mohanan, making it one of the film’s standout moments.

A source close to the production revealed, “Malavika Mohanan and Karthi take on intense action in Sardar 2, with one of the film’s standout sequences being a real mid-air stunt inside a flight. Both actors gave their

best for the action, undergoing rigorous training to ensure every move looked authentic and thrilling on screen.”

Rigorous Action Training for Realistic Stunt Sequences
To bring realism to the elaborate stunt choreography, both actors reportedly underwent extensive physical conditioning, detailed rehearsals and professional stunt training. The makers are leaving no stone unturned to deliver a visually striking experience. The source further shared that the sequel will also feature high-speed chase sequences, positioning Sardar 2 as a full-scale action spectacle.

About Sardar 2: Story, Cast and Crew Details
Sardar 2 is the sequel to the 2022 spy action thriller Sardar, which featured Karthi in a dual role. Directed by PS Mithran, the film is expected to follow a new mission led by Chandra Bose, also known as Agent Sardar.

Alongside Karthi’s return, Rajisha Vijayan reprises her role as Indhrani. The film also stars Malavika Mohanan, SJ Suryah, Ashika Ranganath, and several others in pivotal roles.

The technical team includes Sam CS as the music composer, George C. Williams as the cinematographer and Vijay Velukutty as the editor. While the official release date remains under wraps, the film is expected to arrive in theatres later this year.

Karthi was last seen in the action-comedy Vaa Vaathiyaar, directed by Nalan Kumarasamy, co-starring Krithi Shetty, Shilpa Manjunath, Sathyaraj, and Raj Kiran. He is next expected to appear in Marshal, alongside Kalyani Priyadarshan.

Malavika Mohanan recently featured in Prabhas’ horror-comedy The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi, which also starred Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal and Riddhi Kumar.
