New Delhi, May 2 (PTI) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday directed government officials to ensure a time-bound resolution to the grievances of residents of Shalimar Bagh assembly constituency.
Gupta took part in a ‘Jan Sunwai’ program and personally heard grievances, complaints and suggestions from residents of her constituency.
“Officials from the concerned departments have been directed to initiate immediate action and ensure time-bound resolution,” the chief minister said.
She asserted that such public hearings are not mere formalities, but a meaningful mechanism to understand people’s expectations and address them effectively. Senior officials from various departments were present during the programme, and several issues were resolved
on the spot.
She said the government aims to develop Shalimar Bagh into a ‘model constituency’ where residents have access to high-quality essential services. PTI SSM MPL MPL
