Ram Kapoor has gone through a massive transformation, and after he posted his picture, Ektaa Kapoor shared a video about people taking Ozempic shots to lose weight. Social media assumed it was the filmmaker’s
dig at Ram. Recently, Ektaa denied taking any dig at Ram, and the actor has reacted to her fresh claims.
In a conversation with HT, when Ram was asked about his reaction to Ektaa denying taking any dig at him, the actor said, “I believe her. Whatever comment it may have made on me or not made on me, whether I agree with it or whether I disagree with it, it is something that Ektaa has full right to do because what Ektaa has done for me in my career is something that I will never forget.”
“So if she disagrees with something that I might have said on a podcast and, because of that, if she has made any comment on me, I have no problem with it at all. She has earned the right to say whatever she likes because I will always respect her for what she has done for me now,” he further added, while hinting at his earlier podcast where he made comments against Ektaa.
He further continued, and with high regards for his old friend Ektaa, he shared, “Ektaa is not the kind of person who ever says something that she doesn’t mean. She’s a very frank human being. I’ve known her for more than 15 or 18 years. I know how frank a person she is. I know how she does not mince her words. So if Ektaa has clearly gone on record to say that she did not mean these comments towards me, I will believe her 100% because Ektaa is not the kind of person to ever say anything that she doesn’t want to say.”
“She gave me a platform on which I could fly. In my mind, it doesn’t matter whether we’re on good terms or bad terms, whether she says something nice about me or not. She will always be the same Ektaa Kapoor for me who helped me start my career, and because of her, I am what I am,” he concluded.
What did Ektaa Kapoor say?
Ektaa recently attended the India Today Conclave Mumbai 2025, where she revealed that her post related to Ozempic was personal and was not intended as a comment on any particular individual. “I don’t know where Ram Kapoor came into this. He’s not a woman, not on TV right now, and he’s actually lost a lot of weight,” she clarified.
