(UP), Sep 6 (PTI) A 26-year-old man was found dead on a road in Nagla Gulabi village here on Sunday, police said.
The deceased was identified as Shashikant.
According to police, Shashikant had stepped out of his house on Saturday night to relieve himself but did not return.
A patrolling police team spotted the body lying on the road early Sunday and informed family members. Station House Officer Om Prakash Singh said the body has been sent for postmortem.
“The cause of death is not clear at present. The exact reason will be known after the postmortem report. The police are investigating the incident, keeping all aspects in mind,” he said. PTI COR ABN DV DV
