‘We Were Together Before the Show’: Shagun Sharma Admits Dating Aman Gandhi

As cited by The Times Of India, in a candid interview with Hautterfly, Shagun spoke about her bond with Aman and confirmed their relationship status, putting an end to all speculations. The actress cheerfully admitted, “Rumours thodi hai, sach hai woh toh.”

Shagun Sharma Was Dating Aman Gandhi Before the Show Began

Interestingly, Shagun shared that her relationship with Aman didn’t start on the sets of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, but long before the show went on floors. Revealing this sweet detail, she said, “Hum log, show par nahi date karna shuru kiye, show se pehle date kar rahe hain.”

The actress recalled how both she and Aman were cast in the reboot version of the iconic daily soap, which originally starred Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay. She explained, “When I got called for Kyunki… he (Aman) was already finalised for Kyunki.”

Shagun also remembered how she had an amusing conversation with her boyfriend before the auditions. “I asked him if there was any chance we’d end up playing siblings on screen,” she shared with a laugh. Since both were completely comfortable with the idea, they decided to take up the roles without hesitation.

The Couple Kept Their Relationship Secret for Two Months

Despite working closely together on set, Shagun and Aman initially kept their relationship under wraps. The actress revealed that no one from the production team or their co-stars knew that they were dating when the shoot began. For the first two months, they kept things quiet, choosing to maintain professionalism on set.

It was only later, once they felt more settled and comfortable among their colleagues, that the couple decided to share the news with the Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 team.

A few weeks ago, Shagun appeared on Aman Gandhi’s podcast Set Pe Charcha, where she once again opened up about how their relationship has supported her professional growth.

She said, “A very big reason that I am here is this human being. We were having many discussions and were going back and forth. Aman and my sister were confident that I should do this role.” Shagun expressed deep appreciation for Aman, calling him one of the biggest reasons she took on the role of Paridhi in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2.
