In India, people may achieve unprecedented wealth in their familial history but never forget their roots. True to their humble nature and traditional ethics, this Indian owner was spotted attaching a mix of lemon and chillies to their stunning, white-shaded Rolls-Royce car.
As is known, the combination of lemon and chillies is deployed in India to safeguard precious things from an evil eye. So, this Indian owner went ahead and protected their shining and intimidating Rolls-Royce car from the evil eye using the method suggested by grandmothers and elderly people across the country.
Rolls-Royce Phantom
The video shared on Instagram unveiled what was a Rolls-Royce Phantom. By the looks of the number plate, the car was purchased in Karnataka. The Phantom is
one of the premium offerings among the latest Rolls-Royce models. The car carries a great mix of Rolls-Royce’s vintage road appearance and modern exteriors, as well as high-tech interiors. Running on a 6.75-litre V12 engine, the Phantom gives drivers 563 horsepower and offers 900 Nm torque.
It is made for automobile enthusiasts who love their speed and thrill. The car can manage 0-100 kmph acceleration within 5.4 seconds and has a top speed of 250 kmph. While grand in appearance from the outside, the Rolls-Royce Phantom provides drivers with a sofa-like rear seat and enhanced technology and a luxurious road experience inside. No wonder the owner of this Rolls-Royce Phantom was this keen to safeguard the vehicle from any evil eye.
‘Be Classy But Never Forget Your Roots’
As the short clip of the lemon-chillies combo attached to the Rolls-Royce went viral online, people came up with a series of sarcastic and hysterical remarks. But others appreciated the owner of the vehicle for not forgetting their roots.
“Rs 10 crore car, Rs 10 protection,” commented a person sharing the video.
Someone else acknowledged, “Be classy but never forget your roots.”
“10 is more powerful than 10 crore,” a person quipped.
“That’s the beauty of belief,” appreciated another.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom’s excellent road appearance and high-quality specifications, of course, come at a steep price. The vehicle arrives in two variants and different shades. The Phantom’s base variant itself has an ex-showroom price of Rs 8.99 crore, while the top variant Phantom Centenary Edition comes at an ex-showroom rate of Rs 29.20 crore.
