Rivaba Jadeja, wife of world cup-winning all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, has claimed that several India cricketers indulge in wrongful activities when touring abroad. A video has surfaced of Rivaba on social media in which she can be heard praising her husband for his integrity and avoiding negative influences.
While she refrained from taking any names, her comments raise a big question mark over the general atmosphere and culture of the Indian cricket team. She further added that even Ravindra Jadeja could’ve gotten involved in the wrong activities, but he understands his responsibilities as a professional cricketer.

Jadeja is one of India’s finest cricketers who has represented the team across formats. He retired from T20Is last year on a high right after the team’s historic triumph at the world cup.
Counted among the world’s greatest all-rounders, Jadeja continues to play Tests and ODIs.
The 37-year-old made his international debut in 2009 and has since played 89 Tests, 207 ODIs, and 74 T20Is. He has scored nearly 6500 runs across formats besides taking 634 wickets with his left-arm spin bowling.
Jadeja will be back in India colours in January next year during a three-match ODI series against New Zealand at home. Afterwards, he will be seen representing Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2026.
Jadeja returned to RR after several fruitful seasons with Chennai Super Kings. He was traded to the inaugural champions with Sanju Samson joining CSK as part of the deal between the two teams.
In fact, RR owner Manoj Badale claimed that Jadeja himself wanted to rejoin the franchise.
“Actually, Jaddu reached out to me about four weeks ago. So, I guess in the middle of October, to say that he was really excited about the potential to “come home”, as he described it, where he started his IPL career and, in fact, really started his cricket career and his visibility to the whole of India,” Badale said.
