FMGE 2025 Registration: The National Medical Commission (NMC) will close the application process for the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) Eligibility Certificate (EC) 2025 today, September 29 at 6 pm. Candidates can apply on the official website – nmc.org.in.

Indian citizens who have completed their MBBS degree from a foreign university must clear the FMGE screening test to practice medicine in India. To appear for this exam, it is mandatory to have an eligibility certificate from NMC.

FMGE 2025: Guidelines For Uploading Photograph

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has issued detailed instructions for candidates applying for the FMGE 2025 Eligibility Certificate. As per the guidelines, if there is a major mismatch between the uploaded photograph and the real-time appearance of the candidate, the application will be rejected.

To avoid errors, candidates are advised to use a recent passport-size colour photograph taken in the last 3 months from a professional photo studio. If the photograph is clicked at home, the following rules must be strictly followed:

• Wear formal attire while clicking the photo.
• Use a high-resolution digital device (preferably >5 megapixels).
• Ensure bright light; avoid flash as it creates shadows.
• Do not click selfies – ask someone else to take the photo.
• The photo must be against a plain white background (no objects or patterns).
• Do not wear spectacles, caps, goggles, stethoscopes, ornaments, or heavy makeup.
• Ensure the image has no other people or objects in the background.
• Blurry, dark, or poorly lit photos will be rejected.
