Mahhi Vij entered Salman Khan-hosted reality Bigg Boss 20, which premiered on September 6. During the premiere, she revealed that she rejected the show for many years, before finally deciding to join this season. Now, as she entered the BB house, her loved ones shared messages on Instagram cheering for her. Mahhi’s ex-husband Jay Bhanushali also publicly showed his support to her, and wished her all the best for the journey on the show. The former couple has remained cordial with each other despite their decision to go separate ways.
Jay Bhanushali Roots For Ex-Wife Mahhi Vij
On Monday, Jay Bhanushali took to his Instagram stories, and shared a video clip of Mahhi’s entry in the BB house during the grand premiere. Cheering for her, he wrote, “The Don is in the house @mahhivij All the Best
kill it Tara ki mumma.”
For the unversed, Jay participated in Bigg Boss 15, which aired from October 2021 to January 2022.
Mahhi Vij Reveals Whether She Discussed Bigg Boss 20 Opportunity With Jay
Meanwhile, before her Bigg Boss 20 entry, in an interview with Screen, Mahhi revealed that she discussed the show with Jay.
“I did discuss the show with Jay. I always discuss my work and everything with him. So I did speak with him about the show,” she said.
On Bigg Boss 15, Jay often got emotional and broke down missing his daughter Tara. When asked whether Mahhi would get emotional, she replied, “Jay is an emotional person, and Tara was very small when he entered the show. He was missing her moments growing up, which are very precious. Now Tara has grown; she is independent. She has Jay, my parents, her uncle Manoj, and her siblings, so she will cope. She is a very strong child.”
Jay Bhanushali And Mahhi Vij’s Divorce
Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali tied the knot in 2011. They are proud parents to three children – daughter Tara, born in 2019, and foster children Rajveer and Khushi, whom they took in in 2017.
While rumours about their divorce had been swirling on the Internet for a long time, Jay and Mahhi confirmed that they have parted ways via an Instagram post in January.
They issued a joint statement that read, “Today, we choose to part ways on a journey called life, yet we continue to have each other’s backs. Peace, growth, kindness, and humanity have always been our guiding values. For the sake of our children, Tara, Khushi, and Rajveer, we commit to being the best parents, the best friends, and whatever else it takes to do what is right for them. Though we walk separate paths, there is no villain in this story and no negativity attached to this decision.
