JEE Main 2026 Registration: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration window for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 today, November 27. Eligible candidates can submit the application form for session 1 on the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in, until 11:59 pm.
After the registration window closes, NTA will open the application correction facility on December 1 and 2. During this period, registered candidates will be able to edit or update specific details in their application form.
NTA has also clarified in the FAQs that exam dates will not be adjusted in case they clash with any other examination. Additionally, calculators or similar devices will not be allowed during the exam.
The JEE Main 2026 session 1 will
be held from January 21 to 30. The examination will serve as the gateway for admissions to undergraduate engineering and architecture programmes in NITs, IIITs and other participating institutions.
How To Apply For JEE Main 2026 Exam?
Step 1: Visit the official website at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 1: Click on “Registration for JEE(Main) 2026 Session-1”.
Step 2: Enter basic details including name, date of birth, mobile number and email.
Step 3: Verify mobile number and email through OTP.
Step 4: Log in with the generated credentials.
Step 5: Fill in personal and academic information.
Step 6: Upload the required documents such as photo and signature.
Step 7: Pay the application fee, review the form and submit.
Step 8: Download the confirmation page for future reference.

JEE Main 2026 Registration: Documents Required
Candidates will need the following documents while registering for JEE Main 2026:
- A valid email ID and mobile number
- Class 10 certificate
- Aadhaar card details
- Scanned photograph and signature
- OBC-NCL or EWS certificate details, if applicable
