Flight operations at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) are experiencing delays on Friday due to a technical issue with the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system, causing in delay of over 100
flights.
According to an official statement from the airport authority, “Due to a technical issue with the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system, flight operations at IGIA are experiencing delays. Their team is actively working with all stakeholders including DIAL to resolve it at the earliest.”
The advisory further urged passengers to stay updated on their flight status: “Passengers are advised to stay in touch with their respective airlines for the latest flight updates. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused.”
Authorities have confirmed that technical teams are working to restore normal operations as quickly as possible.

SpiceJet Issues Advisory
SpiceJet also informed passengers that ongoing ATC congestion at Delhi Airport may affect departures, arrivals, and connecting flights.
