Television actress Rashami Desai has shared insights into her ongoing weight loss journey, revealing that she has managed to shed nine kgs despite grappling with several health issues. The actress also offered her fans a closer look at her fitness routine, detailing the obstacles and challenges she has encountered along the way.
Reflecting on her progress in an Instagram post, Rashami said that the journey has not been without difficulties, emphasising the vital role of dedication, consistency and patience in achieving her goals.
“I have not reached my destination, but I’ve got the surety that I can do it. Coz I had no faith in me,” she said, adding, “I’m down 9 kg and having different health concerns.”

showcasing herself practising yoga. She mentioned that she is approaching her journey slowly, taking things step by step, and prioritising comfort over rushing or stressing. Rashami also revealed that she prefers to stick to a few outfits that make her feel confident and comfortable.
“And these are the only clothes I wear and keep telling myself that one step at a time,” Rashami added.
She also opened up about the lessons she learnt about life in her weight loss journey. In a heartfelt post, she reflected on the pressures people often put on themselves to achieve their goals.
“Everyone loves comfort and wants to do the best in life. But in all that, we forget that relationship + commitment = ME. We expect too much from ourselves… and with this, I’ve realised. The world will wait let’s do the right things, I have started my journey, and it’s still going on,” Rashami said.

Earlier, Rashami revealed that she lost around 10 kg by following a healthy diet and fitness regimen while working on the Colors show Uttaran.
“It’s 80 per cent diet and 20 per cent workouts, since my work doesn’t allow me to exercise like I used to before. I constantly watch my diet and my body,” she told Outlook.
She also said that she now plans her meals carefully, as she has to be mindful of what she eats.
