BTS is clearly making every moment of their long-awaited comeback count. After announcing their return with the ARIRANG album on March 20 and a massive world tour to follow, the global superstars have now sparked intense fan speculation by travelling overseas — possibly for a major music video shoot.
On February 2, 2026, all seven members — RM, Jin, Suga, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook — were spotted departing from Incheon International Airport, marking their first public appearance as a full group since completing their military hiatus. The sighting alone sent ARMY into a frenzy, but the mystery surrounding their destination has only deepened the excitement.
Initially, reports suggested that the group was heading to Dubai for filming, raising
expectations of a visually grand project. However, it later emerged that the UAE city was merely a layover, with BTS now confirmed to have arrived in Lisbon, Portugal.

Possible BTS Music Video Location Revealed?
Fans believe BTS may be gearing up to shoot a music video for their upcoming album, although the group has yet to confirm the purpose of the trip. The European setting has led many to speculate that something “big and cinematic” is in the works.
After landing in Dubai, fans spotted the members navigating the airport on carts and even indulging in viral Dubai chewy cookie chocolates, a moment that quickly went viral online. ARMY couldn’t help but laugh along, noting how BTS always seems to stay effortlessly on trend, even during transit.
Soon after, it became clear that the group had boarded another flight, eventually touching down in Lisbon, one of Europe’s most picturesque cities. Given BTS’ history of filming visually striking music videos across global locations, the Portugal sighting has only strengthened theories that this trip is tied to their comeback visuals.
What’s Next for BTS’ ARIRANG Era?
Adding to the excitement, Netflix recently announced The BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE: ARIRANG, the group’s first-ever live performance of their new music. The event will be streamed globally on March 21 at 8 pm KST (4:30 pm IST) — just a day after the album’s release.
The live performance will be filmed at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul, a location rich in cultural and historical significance, making it a meaningful stage for BTS’ return as OT7.
Fans will also get an intimate behind-the-scenes look at the comeback journey through a feature-length documentary titled BTS: THE RETURN. The documentary, which chronicles the making of the ARIRANG album, is set to premiere on March 27, 2026.
