Ramayana Trailer Leak: More Clips Surface Online; Fans Urge Makers To Release Full Promo

The wait for the first full trailer of Ramayana has taken an unexpected turn. The makers had initially planned to unveil the promo on July 24, 2026, but postponed the public release shortly before the scheduled launch. Now, several clips allegedly taken from the trailer have surfaced online, prompting excitement as well as frustration among fans.

The Nitesh Tiwari directorial stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash in key roles. Although the trailer has not yet been officially released for a wider audience, it has reportedly been screened at select events, including a launch gathering in Delhi, a special media presentation in Mumbai and the San Diego Comic-Con.

Leaked Ramayana Clips Circulate On Social Media

A brief portion of the trailer had

appeared online earlier this week. More footage began circulating across social media platforms on Saturday, with users sharing low-resolution clips and reacting to the film’s scale, visuals and background score.

Some viewers appeared impressed despite the poor quality of the leaked material. One user wrote, “All 3 leaked clips look absolutely insane! Even in low quality, the grand scale, visuals, and background score give pure goosebumps. Nitesh Tiwari is crafting an absolute masterpiece!”

Others were disappointed that footage from a project of this magnitude had escaped before the official release. “It’s disappointing that a film as big as #Ramayana couldn’t protect its trailer from leaking before the official release. The makers should have had stronger security measures in place. Months of hard work deserve better than an online leak,” another post read.

A section of the audience also urged the team to stop waiting and release the trailer immediately. One user remarked that much of the surprise had already been lost because several minutes of footage were now available online.

Why Was The Trailer Postponed?

The postponement was announced after the makers confirmed a major international distribution partnership with Sony Pictures Entertainment. The studio will handle the film’s release across global markets.

The decision pushed back the trailer launch, although a revised date has not been announced yet. With leaked clips already spreading, fans are now waiting to see whether the makers will advance the official release.

Ramayana To Release In Two Parts

Ramayana has been planned as a two-part cinematic adaptation. The first instalment is scheduled to arrive in theatres during Diwali 2026, while the second part is expected to release during the festive period in 2027.
