The dramatic sequence shows the actress slipping over the building’s ledge, and as she plunges towards the ground, the sky suddenly lights up with bursts of firecrackers. The scene ends with Mu Hee lying on the ground, gazing at the illuminated sky before everything fades to black.

While viewers worldwide praised the striking visuals of the scene, Indian fans were quick to notice its resemblance to a moment from Shah Rukh Khan’s Fan. In the film’s climax, Shah Rukh Khan’s character is also shown falling from a building as fireworks light up the sky.

The scene from the drama raised questions among Indian fans. One of them shared wrote, “The new Netflix K-Drama series #CanThisLoveBeTranslated released recently has a reference to the #Fan ending scene. Almost an exact copy.”
