Ramayana trailer release date
: The makers of Ramayana have announced that the film’s trailer will be released worldwide at 4:15 am IST on July 30, a time that coincides with Brahma Muhurat, considered one of the most auspicious periods of the day in Hindu tradition. The announcement was made through a new poster that read, “At the Auspicious Brahma Muhurat, We Welcome the Dawn of Ramayana with our Trailer.”The trailer was originally expected to make its global debut during San Diego Comic-Con before also being released online. However, producer Namit Malhotra announced a last-minute postponement, saying the trailer would instead be launched globally at a later date.
What is Brahma Muhurat?
Brahma Muhurat is the period that begins roughly one
hour and 36 minutes before sunrise and lasts for about 48 minutes. In Hindu traditions, it is regarded as an ideal time for meditation, prayer, chanting and spiritual practices because the mind is believed to be calm and focused during these early hours.

Ramayana Trailer Leaks Online Again
Even as fans continue to wait for the official trailer, footage from the trailer has leaked online. The trailer was first showcased during the Pratham Sankalp event at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, followed by a screening in Mumbai. Recently, it was also screened during the San Diego Comic-Con presentation. After each event, short clips from the unreleased trailer surfaced on social media, prompting fans to urge the makers to officially release the promo.
According to reports, producer Namit Malhotra and the film’s legal team launched an anti-piracy drive after the initial leak, while fresh clips continued to circulate online following the Comic-Con preview.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, Ramayana stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana. The cast also includes Sunny Deol, Ravie Dubey, Rakul Preet Singh, Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Vivek Oberoi and Kunal Kapoor in key roles. The music has been composed by Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman, while the film is produced by Namit Malhotra, with Yash also serving as a co-producer. The film will release in November 2026.
