Godda, Sep 5 (PTI) Two girls, who went missing from Jharkhand’s Godda, have been traced at a railway station in Bihar, police said on Saturday.
The girls, both aged 13, had gone missing after leaving home for school around 9 am on Friday, they said.
The minors are residents of Firozpur village within Mahagama police station limits in the district.
The police had launched a search operation based on a missing complaint registered by their parents.
“We traced both the girls at Patna Railway Station. The breakthrough came on the basis of their mobile phone location. Subsequently, we sent the details to the GRP and RPF in Patna, which rescued the girls,” Mahagama police station officer in-charge Abhinav Anand told PTI.
The parents of the girls have been
informed, and they will be brought back on Sunday, Anand said.
It was not immediately known why and how the girls managed to reach Patna. PTI CORR RPS RBT
