Kangana Ranaut Lashes Out At Ram Kapoor In Lock Upp 2: 'You Think You Are Too Big For This Jail'

Kangana Ranaut will grace the upcoming episode of Lock Upp 2 as a special guest. Recently, the makers of the reality show dropped a promo in which she was seen confronting Ram Kapoor and lashing out at him for his attitude. Kangana asked Ram if he thinks he is too big for the show and said, “Ramji, you shouldn’t have taken the game so seriously. And if you think that you are too big for this jail, then why did you come here? To show your stupidity?”

However, Ramdefended himself by saying, “When the time comes, I will own my truth as well as, or better than, anybody here.” This seemingly irritated Kangana who then gave a warning to Ram and stated, “Don’t defend yourself if you want to improve.”

Kangana Ranaut was the host of Lock Upp 1. However, season two is being hosted by Riteish Deshmukh and Farah Khan. Recently the Bollywood actress-turned-politician talked about returning on the show and said, “This show has always been about owning your truth, no matter how uncomfortable it is. Joining Farah and Riteish as the jury or the Janta Ki Awaaz this weekend for Lock Upp: Sach ya Sazaa’s very first termination, all I can say is every choice has a price!”

Previously, producer Ektaa Kapoor also revealed why Kangana Ranaut isn’t hosting Lock Upp 2 and said, “The entire format of the show, the whole vision changed and the demographic, the kind of jailer-judge format we had. Nothing of the original show has been kept. Neither the jailer nor the host, so keeping anything of the old would not bring the fresh presentation of the branding. So I am sure Kangana would have understood.”

Lock Upp premiered in June this year. It streams on Netflix.
