Gaten Matarazzo echoed a similar sentiment, pointing out how Finn made sure no one drifted apart. “Finn is the one who keeps the gang consistently communicating. He is very active on text chains, which is a real treat,” he said.

Caleb McLaughlin also highlighted how Finn’s enthusiasm kept the group alive. “We built a family… and we all have something special to bring to the group. But Finn really is the one who keeps up with everyone, like, ‘Hey, look what I’m doing today! What is everyone else doing?’”

Finn Wolfhard Talks About Stranger Things Coming To An End

In an interview with Esquire, Finn spoke about the show coming to an end after nine long years. The actor said that he was proud of the work he had done in the series but was also sad that the show has come to and end. He said, “There’s a lot of sadness that comes along with it, because it was our lives for so long—it’s like our school, our childhood.”

He added, “I’m someone who is a natural optimist that believes that everything will go the way that it should, but I also have the tendency to not experience things in the moment so that I can prepare for future things. This is a very big transitional period, so it’s terrifying. But I think it’s all going to go the way that it should.”

Stranger Things season 5 aired in two parts. Volume one of the show premiered on Netflix in November, while the second part was released on December 25, and the final episode aired on December 31. The show has broken several viewership records, and fans are buzzing over the ending of the show.
