Ajit Pawar Plane Crash: Wife Sunetra, Sharad Pawar Reach Baramati

Nationalist Congress Party (SP) chief Sharad Pawar and Ajit Pawar’s wife Sunetra Pawar reached Baramati on Wednesday, hours after the Maharashtra deputy chief minister died in a tragic plane crash.

Ajit Pawar’s cousin Supriya Sule and son Parth Pawar were also present there. Last rites of Ajit Pawar will take place Vidya Pratishthan ground on Thursday. Vidya Pratishthan’s Insitute of Information Technology in Vidyanagri, Baramati was started by Sharad Pawar.

Ajit Pawar Death: VSR Ventures Says Aircraft Was Absolutely Fit, Low Visibility Caused Plane Crash

Ajit Pawar and four others were killed when the aircraft carrying them crashed in Pune district on Wednesday morning. The incident took place near Baramati, where the plane had been operating a flight from Mumbai. Pawar, 66, was travelling to Baramati to address public meetings as part of the campaign for the February 5 zilla parishad elections in Maharashtra.
